Vekt operates an automated trademark and copyright review system ("The COWBOY Agent"). Every image generated through Vekt Engine is scanned against public web registries using Google Vision Web Detection before it is released to any customer or published on any Vekt surface.
The system checks for: protected trademarks, copyrighted works, celebrity/public-figure likenesses, song lyrics, protected text passages, unlicensed assets, and false claims of ownership or affiliation.
Users who submit prompts or uploads that trigger HOLD or repeated WATCH verdicts are subject to the following escalation:
Strikes accumulate per user account. They do not expire. Attempts to circumvent enforcement by creating new accounts or using alternative credentials will result in immediate permanent ban and we wont even take your money if we smell a rat.
The strike policy applies equally regardless of intent. The Cowboy explains what was flagged and why. If you did not intend to violate any right, use the "Regenerate" option to modify your prompt and resubmit. Repeated submissions of the same or substantially similar material after a HOLD verdict is treated as a knowing violation and escalates directly to Strike 3 but thats if your trying to ship and there is a difference. So if you want to test it as the Cowboy to give you a free pre-ship ruling thats the safest way. If you believe a HOLD or WATCH verdict is incorrect, you may file a dispute through the case review panel. A human curator (not an automated system) will review the case within five business days. During review, the creation remains blocked. If the dispute is upheld in your favor, the strike is removed and the creation is released.
The Cowboy is an automated trademark and copyright screening agent. It is not a licensed attorney and does not provide legal advice. A CLEAR verdict means the automated sweep found no match. It does not guarantee that the creation is free of all possible intellectual property claims. You remain responsible for the content you create and publish through Vekt. So if he says its a no go then dont try and ship it and we got no issues.
Vekt uses AI image generation. Vekt does not claim ownership of the style, technique, or method by which images are generated. Your creations are yours. Vekt claims no copyright in your output beyond the license tier you select at purchase.
Vekt uses Google Cloud Vision API (Web Detection) as its image provenance verification provider. Images you generate are transmitted to Google's servers for comparison against publicly available web images. Google does not retain your images. This scan is performed once per creation at the publish gate or if you ask for free before the SEND BUTTON IS CLICKED PLEASE.
Vekt provides this service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Vekt makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the originality, non-infringement, or suitability of any AI-generated image. Vekt's total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific creation at issue.
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of Vekt after a change constitutes acceptance. The current version is always available at this URL.
